Objectives
This course covers the competencies and skills identified as key to Unix System V R4 Systems Administrators. The course introduces the trainees to good practices in the administration of a UNIX system. On completion of the course trainees will be able to: identify and mange the major subsystems that comprise UNIX; perform confidently the role of Systems Administrator; be aware of the problems encountered running a UNIX system and how to tackle them.
Target Audience New, recent or intending systems administrators; support staff, or anyone who needs to make a purchasing decision and wants to understand the implications of running an SVR4 UNIX system.
